Licks 1, 2 and 3 are from the song "Red House" which is a blues in B. He tunes all the strings down a half step to E♭. To play along with the recording in standard tuning move everything down a half step ( one fret). These licks are mostly B minor pentatonic but there is also some major pentatonic licks as well. Licks 4 and 5 are from the song "hey Joe" and are in E minor pentatonic. Lick 4 throws in the major 3rd to have the lick resolve to the E chord.
